I joined the team in July 2026 and am passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and the people who love them. Whether I’m helping a sick pet feel better, guiding an owner through a difficult medical decision, or supporting preventive care to keep pets healthy, my goal is always to build trusting relationships and help pets live their happiest, healthiest lives.
I grew up in Tarzana, California, and my journey into veterinary medicine began with my aunt’s first puppy, Ivanhoe. The impact he had on my life inspired my lifelong commitment to animal health and welfare. Before becoming a veterinarian, I volunteered with several animal rescue organizations, including New Leash on Life and Pet Orphans of Southern California, where I gained valuable hands-on experience caring for animals in need.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a concentration in Pre-Veterinary Studies from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in 2006. I then attended The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, where I received my veterinary degree in 2012. I also completed a residency in Canine and Feline Medicine through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.
One of the most rewarding parts of veterinary medicine for me is seeing sick pets recover and witnessing the excitement and joy they show when reunited with their families. Moments like these remind me why I chose this profession and inspire me to provide the best possible care every day.
At home, I share my life with Glenda, my 11-year-old domestic shorthair cat. She has an extra-special trait—she’s polydactyl! Despite her age, she still gets frequent “zoomies” and loves rolling onto her back for a good stretch.
When I’m not at the hospital, I enjoy reading, working out, hiking, traveling, exploring bookstores, and spending time at Disneyland. I look forward to building lasting relationships with clients and helping their pets live happy, healthy lives.
